-“Change 4 Change” resumes.
Once again, we will be supporting Heifer International. As the news
unfolds about the impact of the 7.0 earthquake in Haiti , Heifer is preparing to follow first-responders by providing the
tools and resources necessary to rebuild sustainable livelihoods. Heifer has 16 active projects in Haiti and works with more
than 16,000 families. Please have your children come to Sunday School with change to put into our offering.
Any amount is welcome.
-A “free
will donation” tag sale will be taking place in Fellowship Hall for the next few Sundays.
Feel free to come early on Sunday
morning to peruse, or take a walk downstairs during coffee hour. A number of nice items are there
for the taking!
Looking Ahead…
-Family Night is starting up again on a monthly basis. Please join us next Friday (1/29) between 6:00 and 8:30 for a pot luck dinner and
Bible Bingo. All of our church family is invited to attend, and everyone
is asked to bring a dish to share.
-The Annual meeting will take place
on Sunday, November 7th immediately following the service. This will be a pot luck luncheon,
and all members & friends of the church are strongly encouraged to attend. Child
care will provided.
-Rehearsals for this year’s Good Friday presentation will begin in March.
-Save the date! We are planning to hold a VBS fundraiser (featuring a silhouette artist) on Saturday, April 24th at the
church. Volunteers will be needed from around 9:00am to about 6:00pm. More information will be available to you shortly.
-Another “Save the Date”… Children’s Day will take place on Sunday, June
13th. All registered students should attend this service, and a BBQ celebration will
follow!
